I Have Spent My Career Building Things People Actually Use

For more than 20 years, I have worked at the intersection of technology, customers and business.

My career has taken me across telecommunications, banking, fintech, payments and digital platforms — from Istanbul to Muscat and Doha.

Along the way, I have built and led digital products, customer experiences, e-commerce businesses, ecosystems and transformation programs serving millions of customers. I have worked inside organizations including Vodafone Qatar, Sohar International, Turkcell, Türk Telekom and BELBİM / İstanbulkart.

But titles and technologies have changed much faster than the fundamental challenge. Organizations need to understand their customers, make clear choices and execute. That is the perspective I bring to my work today.

I am particularly interested in the point where digital strategy meets execution — where an ambitious presentation has to become a product, a customer journey, a commercial result or a measurable improvement.

Before my corporate career, competitive basketball was an important part of my life as both a player and coach. It shaped much of how I think about leadership today: individual talent matters, but sustainable performance comes from clarity, accountability and teamwork.

Today, alongside my executive responsibilities, I share my experience through advisory work, executive conversations and speaking engagements.
